On our last trip to Walt Disney World, we decided to do the 4 Parks in 1 day challenge. What's this challenge I speak of? Here are the rules we played by:
Visit all 4 parks in 1 day
Do 1 ride or attraction in each park
Have 1 snack or meal in each park
Have one alcoholic beverage in each park
Take a picture in each park
Ride all modes of transportation available
AND HAVE FUN!!
We knew going into this that we weren't doing the challenge the most efficient way, as we had certain parks that we wanted to spend more time in than others, plus we wanted to end our day at Hollywood Studios. So we started our Day at Epcot.
One person in our group was in charge of getting up at 7 AM and grabbed us all a virtual queue for Guardians at Epcot.
My husband decided to add in the "all modes of transportation" rule, so we ended up getting ready to go and took the Skyliner from Pop Century over to Hollywood Studios, then we took a boat from Hollywood Studios to Epcot.
We got to Epcot just in time to rope-drop Remy! Then it was time for breakfast at La Creperie de Paris! We then walked around the countries and hit up Norway for Frozen Ever After and some Viking Coffee, Mexico for Gran Fiesta Starring The Three Caballeros, then on to ride Guardians of the Galaxy! I almost forgot a drink but stopped on our way out at Connections Eatery and grabbed an Elderberry Flower with Titos. See that empty cup below? I drank it before I remembered to take a picture!
Next up..Animal Kingdom! We went back to our resort for a little bit because we had time before we could park hop over. So we took a bus from our resort over to Animal Kingdom. We were there long enough to go do Bug's Life grab a drink and eat our snacks! We had popcorn, street corn, and a Mickey Ice Cream Bar! Then we were off to the next park!
We hopped a bus to Magic Kingdom and then we were on our way! We scored a last-minute reservation for Tony's for our drinks and food and then rode the train around the park one time to count as our ride/attraction! We decided that the train counted as a ride/attraction AND a mode of transportation.
Our final park was Hollywood Studios! We hopped a monorail over to Contemporary and then a bus to Hollywood Studios. So for all of you that were keeping track, we hit ALL the modes of transportation! Next up was Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, then it was time for our drinks! After that, we did Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Realized we were having so much fun that we forgot to grab our snacks so we headed to Woody's Lunch Box for some tots and a lunch box tart! We had time for 1 last ride..Slinky Dog!
Once we were done, the park was closed and we headed back to our resort. It was a long but fun day! We really did have SO much fun with this!
So let's sum it up..
Visit all 4 parks in 1 day - We sure did!
Do 1 ride or attraction in each park - 1 in each park but we did 11 rides total!
Have 1 snack or meal in each park - Yep! We all had at least 1 snack/meal in each park!
Have one alcoholic beverage in each park - Oh yes! Some parks had more than 1 drink!
Take a picture in each park - Check!
Ride all modes of transportation available - some modes we rode more than once!
AND HAVE FUN!! - We had an absolute blast!
